Liked: Very friendly staff made us feel right at home. Lovely place.
Disliked: The shower/tub in our room was difficult to use. We were in room 9. It is very close quarters in the shower and felt a little uncomfortable.

Liked: The breakfast was very good. Tasted good, was on the lukewarm side. Enjoyed using the billiard table and chess set. There was plenty of hot water.
Disliked: Throughout the hotel there were paint chips falling off the wall , cracks in the ceiling. The room we stayed in had this problem. There was a big stain on the ceiling downstairs due to guests letting the tub overflow according to the owner. After seeing some of the other rooms on the top floor, I would have rather had one of those rooms for my stay instead of the room they gave us. For the price of the room for one night, I think they should have booked us a room that had better ascetics. According to the owner, since the house is on the historical list, they can not do any inside renovations without permission from the historical society. Just because the house is victorian and historical, it should still be maintained if they are going to rent it out to the public. I consider it a health hazard to allow paint chips falling off the wall and ceiling. TV's did not work well. Many of the stations streaming or would not connect.
