The Fredericton Inn, Fredericton

Good

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. It was interesting to see their halls of fame - you shouldn't walk past without checking them out.
Disliked: We were disappointed at the pool. There was a very loud family screaming and splashing having lots of fun and Im happy they were having fun but it didn't leave much space and definitely no quiet enjoyment for us. We cut our pool and hot tub time short.

Disliked: The black mold on the windows. No fridge microwave.

Liked: Close proximity to restaurants and shopping
Disliked: Room cleanliness was abysmal. There was poo on the wall in the bathroom, as well as in the shower. Not an exaggeration, there was literally human poo on the bathroom walls. No fridge or microwave, and we had a “courtyard” room with an exterior door, the door had zero seal, we had the thermostat set to 24 degrees and it didn’t reach above 15 degrees in that room.

Disliked: A bit tired looking, needs an update. However it was clean and the staff were lovely.

Disliked: The double queen size room had no microwave or mini fridge. I'm very disappointed. Also, the pool area is very outdated, and it was dirty the next morning when my grandson and I went to the hot tub. There was candy and juice over the floor from the night before from young hockey youth being left unattended and supervised. I thought the Fredericton Inn was of a more upscale facility than this.

Not particularly Happy

Liked: The room was very large and clean. Linen was clean on the beds and the chairs are comfortable for sitting around. The bar is nice and the staff are friendly.
Disliked: My biggest problem was waking up and not having coffee. I never check this when I book a room, but I will now. I was half asleep and couldn't find the coffee cups so my husband put on his eyes and looked around. Come to find out we didn't have coffee, nor did we have coffee or the packets with sugar and stir sticks. I opened the spot for the coffee pod and there was a used one still inside. We are not given bottled water in the room, which I found strange as we get water in every other hotel we stay at. Anyways, we went to the vending machines and they were broken. It was way to late to go get water anywhere.
