Far better hotels at this...

Liked: The outstanding plus for this hotel are the staff. Without exception charming, helpful and friendly. The hambuger in the restaurant was very good.
Disliked: £30 for a hamburger is absurd. In fact this is my main complaint. The extras in the hotel are exorbitantly priced. Breakfast is £39.00. Nuts in the minibar are £10.00. I understand this is billed as a 4 star hotel, but it takes more than expensive nuts and a good burger to make it 4 stars. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels in my time, but they have to earn the privilege of charging these prices. This hotel does not. The shower was laughable, Penhaligon toiletries don't make up for lack of pressure and dangerous acrobatics to get in and out of the bath. Nothing to hold on to. Added to which the bathroom very basic. Oh, and one more thing. Do not trust the "menu" information on your TV. The prices are misleading and clearly not up to date.

Liked: Location was good. Images of hotel are better than real life!
Disliked: No shower as standard in a 5 star hotel deluxe room upgrade. Apparently you have to request it at time of booking as i was informed on complaining at check out. I mean honestly requesting a shower?!?!! Says it has 24 hr room service but does not. Check in and check out is impersonal with everyone round a table and no privacy.

Very comfortable and enjoyable

Liked: Location was brilliant and the room was very clean, spacious and luxurious. Bed was very very comfortable and bathroom was a great size

Great location.

Liked: Fantastic quiet location despite being right near Cromwell Road.The beds were very comfortable!Great to be given water in our room.Staff were all friendly and helpful!Room 407 was very quiet at the end of a corridor. It had the most amazing double walk in shower.
Disliked: A few rather unfortunate issues.We couldn't get bedside lights to work and the rooms are quite dark.The team sorted issue promptly but had to fiddle in our room to sort the problem.Also ended up having to move rooms at 21:30 in the evening as water was pouring out from a ceiling light fitting. Sadly, the room we were moved to was in a noisy location by the lift shaft.If your a light sleeper, don't accept this room Small bar area and no comfortable seating or lounge areas to spend time in.
