Liked: Beautiful renovated townhouse. This is a boutique hotel with 12 rooms, owner took every step to make the place beautiful and charming
Disliked: Do not have the convenience of a conventional hotel like a 24 hour front desk, daily cleaning service nor a lift. No prior email or messages about the check in procedures, check in starts at 2 pm but staff are present in the hotel up to 2 pm. So we have to do self check-in. No prior warnings about this and the entry code and other check in details were only received via a message on Booking.com. So make sure you have mobile data and internet connections when checking in. Separately just a small point, for the sake of the environment, suggest not to use small bottled toiletries. About the breakfast, it is not buffet style, nice food but would prefer to have more choices for bread and fruits.

Liked: Charming, clean and very comfortable!
Disliked: Nothing to dislike really. Only suggestion would be to have some quiet background music at breakfast, classical or instrumental of any soothing genre.

Liked: Lovely renovated building, room was clean and bed was comfortable, breakfast on a tray was a nice touch; owners were friendly; The Florence is close to the Saturday Harvest Market and walkable to the town center; we’d stay here again on a return trip to Launceston!
