Located in Cirencester town center The Fleece at Cirencester is a 300-year old Grade II listed building features original beams and log fires. Guests can dine in the Stableyard Restaurant with its enclosed courtyard and traditional bar and lounge. The rooms are well-equipped and all have a bathroom with either a bath a shower a hairdryer and toiletries. Guests can also enjoy tea and coffee-making facilities and ironing facilities. 1651 Bar and Restaurant serves international dishes cooked with local ingredients. In the summer months the Lounge Bar opens its floor-to-ceiling doors and serves sandwiches and snacks in a café-culture style. A full English breakfast is served each morning. Disliked: Breakfast was only on until 10am. I expected it to be on until 11am at the weekend . The toilet in our room had a very poor flush despite good water pressure from the taps.

Lovely place full of character...

Liked: Great location right in the middle of Cirencester. The decor was really lovely and the place . Our standard had character in a modern wayroom, although quite small was comfortable and big enough for a 2 night stay. Really good breakfast served to you, so no getting up and down to a luke warm buffet!
Disliked: I didn't mind this, but as the building is old you could hear 'creaking' as people moved about the building quite early in the morning.
