Liked: Very welcoming and inclusive, which was great being a solo traveller. Played bingo and cards into the lounge with others staying there.

Liked: There are power outlets and curtains by the bed, which is very convenient. The staff is friendly, there are plenty of bathrooms (haha), and everything is very clean. There’s parking available, and the place looks just like the photos. If I need to, I would choose this place again. recommended

Comfortable and warm stay, good...

Liked: Room was nice and warm. Lockers under the bed very spacious. It was good to have a curtain for some privacy (although only goes half way across). Kitchen facilities were good, tea bags and coffee provided.
Disliked: Drying room was not particularly warm and ski clothes and boots were still damp the next morning.Not many bathrooms.

Go to hostel in queenstown

Liked: Location has free parking across the road and is walkable to town. Staff are always friendly. Decent size lounge and 2 kitchen areas with plenty of storage in fridges. Great wifi.
Disliked: Bunk beds in the room are abit run down, but solid enough and comfortable.

Liked: Staff were lovely and super helpful.Plenty of bathrooms (plus ensuite in our dorm!), and kitchen space, having an oven is a bonus!Quiet, so could get a good night's sleep.Location was fab 👍Dorms were really good size, lots of storage space and lockers.
Disliked: If we're being REALLY picky, the WiFi could be a little temperamental now and again, the mattresses are on the thinner side and you don't get free towels (but you can rent them).These are all such little things and are super workable.
