Comfortable and quiet.

Liked: They did not serve breakfast, but they did provide coffee and tea in the morning. There were also coffee makers if you needed any at other times of the day. There were coffee houses near by that you could walk or drive to.

Best Hotel to Experience Gettysburg

Liked: It was a lovely historical hotel, once a school. We loved the period decor and the afternoon tea / scones. It was very welcoming and the staff was well versed and willing to share information about the building. Great location for battlefield tours, and local shops.
Disliked: Liked it all! No elevators though, so it could be a challenge for some people.

Liked: The room was absolutely beautiful! It was a great price. I love that the building itself has a history to it and is decorated to suit that history.
Disliked: My only concern was that there isn’t a way to access the parking lot on the right side of the building, which is the way Google Maps took us, so we had to turn around and get to the left side. Such a minor thing though :)

Disliked: We weren't told that there are additional heaters in the room and bathroom. The bathroom was extremely cold as if it is not insulated. Found a small floor heater on the last day and realized it worked. Jet tub is not big enough for 2. Jet tub is not the one pictured on the booking. Jet tub is extremely loud and turns on by itself every 20 minutes to keep the water moving but it scares the crap out of you. Tiny television far across the room from the bed. Bed not comfortable, didn't sleep very well.Our room was DIRECTLY in front of the front parking lot and front door of the hotel. We were also directly above the pub. Noise was an issue.
