Great historic hotel and a...

Liked: Another lovely stay at the Feathers, friendly and helpful staff .. good dining
Disliked: Having to pay for parking when you have paid a substantial rate for a suite , plus on this occasion the housekeeping wasn’t up to scratch though things were rectified at the time

A bit disappointed by the...

Liked: Lovely old hotel.Brilliant location.Comfy bed.
Disliked: Bathroom floor in desperate need of grouting..The public areas especially by the reception in need of an update and were in some areas downright dirty.The coffee table by the fire in front of reception needed a good clean and the glass pendants above it really dusty.The sofas were old and dirty looking and the area between the fire and the coffee table full of ash.This is not what you would expect from a beautiful old hotel.We had to wait over half an hour to get into our room despite it being 3.30 pm.
