Liked: Stunning premises & grounds. Not the biggest of rooms but very pretty, comfortable & had a lovely bathroom. The staff were fantastic, so polite & accommodating.
Disliked: It’s not the cheapest. However, there wasn’t anything I could complain about.

Liked: The staff and the food was superb! We had a very nice short escape.
Disliked: We booked this hotel specifically for being dog friendly, and reserved a luxurious double room in barns. After we booked we were informed that the room we booked wasn’t suitable for dogs and informed that we were moved to another room that was more affordable but we weren’t informed that we were downgraded to a standard double room. It was disappointing because the room we had booked and the room we had stayed in had massive differences. If we knew that we would have to stay in the standard room we probably wouldn’t have booked this space. We still appreciate the staff trying to accommodate us with a better room, but this should be a warning to other guests with dogs who are planing to book any room but the double standard.

Nice place, let down by...

Liked: Nice tidy presentable hotel, good styling and friendly staff.
Disliked: The sound insulation in the ceiling was very poor - I could hear everything the person above was doing, and got woken up every time they moved slightly as their bed creaked!
