Lovely room and facilities

Liked: Lovely room and ideal location. Nice restaurant and bar.
Disliked: Staff weren’t very welcoming. Very miserable Infact but the stay itself was very pleasant.

Clean, comfy and great location.

Liked: The room was nice, good size and bed comfortable. Bathroom exceptionally clean.
Disliked: You can hear everything from the room above and the stairwell unfortunately. Maybe could do with some sound proofing. We had a very noisy couple above us who were shouting late in the evening and started at 6.30 in the morning, stomping around, banging things etc. This obviously was not the hotels fault but is something to take in to consideration given the price of the room for the night.

Liked: You get a lovely welcome and shown to your room, always warm and cosy, has everything you need and a short walk to where we go. They do a lovely bottle of wine and I can’t think of one thing I don’t like x
Disliked: Nothing to complain about x

Lovely room but too noisy.

Liked: The room was lovely, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Our problem was the noise. We could hear everything in the other bedrooms. A couple staying underneath us were just talking and we could hear every word. Then the couple next door came home and we again could hear every word. Unfortunately this went on until 2am. We came back for drinks at 10.30 and were told the pub was closed.
Disliked: The rooms need to be sound insulated. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms. People staying at the pub should be able to have a drink. 10.30 was very early to close.

Good hotel for the money....

Liked: The arrangement of the hotel and the restaurant.The staff were friendly and attentive.
Disliked: The TV didn’t work.The Bluetooth device in the room didn’t work.

Perfect in every respect

Liked: Perfect location, facilities were fantastic. Everything was perfect. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean. We had cocktails at the Cow Shed which is on site so to speak and stayed for the Sunday roast which was fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing
