Nice hotel, good location, happily...
Liked: Nice hotel with a good bar downstairs and serves good range of food. Location was good, breakfast was included which was good size. staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing.

Really good pub and restaurant,...
Liked: Very pleasant and well mannered staff, lovely bar and restaurant!
Disliked: Had a “family room”‘bumped up from a double, however, the main bed was “twin single” beds put together, resulting in having a ridge / divide in the centre (which one bed was slightly higher than the other), making it a little uncomfortable should you venture to the middle part of the bed!

Has potential to be superb.
Liked: Warm welcome on arrival. Old building which felt warm. Nice restaurant on site. Helpful staff and we were kindly given a free breakfast for the room issues we had.
Disliked: Unfortunately we had no hot water - the water from the shower gurgled up in the sink. Hot water issue sorted but didn’t last for long. Shower made a terrible noise - sounded like a pneumatic drill. No plumber available to sort issues so couldn’t shower. Also, booking.com said complimentary chocolates but no sign of them. Not sure whose issue this was. The radiator top was thick with dust / the cover simply removes for cleaning so not difficult. Such a shame as the hotel could be superb.
