First class all the way. My first stay there was in 1970 ($45/night) - was excellent then and remains the same, if not better. The Tonga room is awesome.

Always a great stay at...

Liked: The view could have been better. I overlooked an alley with other buildings.
Disliked: There were no waters in the room and I had to jump through a couple of hoops to get wifi.

Liked: Comfortable beds and linens. Beautiful views of the city. Classic furnishings to compliment the historic hotel.

Another beautiful stay at The...

Liked: The Fairmont always feels magical; especially at Christmas. We love the history and the central location.
Disliked: We wish the breakfast in the area downstairs would have been better for the cost. It was over $120 for two of us to eat at a breakfast buffet that was mediocre at best. This was our only negative experience.

Liked: Fantastic
Disliked: There needed to be a better consideration of allergies. There was a gluten free sign on the bacon however there was real bread underneath it. For someone with celiac disease (allergic to gluten) I was very sick after this.
