Relaxing fun weekend staycation

Disliked: 5th floor, very noisy. Uncomfortable bed. Heating did not work. Rooms are old, so is the bathroom . Not 5 star at all

Lovely hotel for a downtown...

Liked: Beautiful lobby, restaurant, and bar! The staff were exceptionally friendly. We loved having dinner and drinks and relaxing on the couches in the bar area. They were close enough to be part of the classic atmosphere but were private enough for conversation. Rooms were wonderful, I appreciate that the hotel has kept many of the (well-maintained) vintage elements of the bathroom instead of giving in to the ultra-modern cookie cutter style of many other hotels.
Disliked: We were a little disappointed with the pool and hot tub area, it was a bit dirty and looked like it had not been deep cleaned in a long time.
