This modern Golf and Country Club Hotel is 4 miles from Marks Hall Gardens and Arboretum and 9 miles from Braintree Shopping Village. The Essex is the perfect place to stay in this beautiful countryside location. Colchester Britain's oldest recorded town is just a 20 minute drive where you can visit the historic Castle and Colchester Zoo. Liked: Wonderful welcoming service with a smile upon arrival. The facilities are very clean, modern, and easily accessible allowing you to relax and unwind in all your chosen activities.

Liked: Room was spacious and comfortable
Disliked: There was nowhere to sit with a drink by the pool while the others swam, I had to go upstairs to the bar area.
