Linda at the reception is...

Liked: Linda at the reception was so nice! She gave us for free upgrade room, because of my birthday! Even more - she sent to our room a bottle with wonderful wine to celebrate! We felt ourselves in this hotel so valuable!
Disliked: Furniture is pretty old.

Convenient because close to cruise...

Liked: Cute, clean, comfortable beds
Disliked: The noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. No sleep for either one of us in 901

Convenient location to go on...

Liked: Very convenient location and probably the best value compared to the other expensive hotels in the area
Disliked: The whole hotel felt very dated and definitely needs some sort of upgrade. It definitely has its own character. It was very noisy until about 9.30 at night as our room was on the same floor as the bar and reception. If I were to stay again it would be on the upper floors.

Liked: Very friendly staff. A family run business. Bed very comfortable and all facilities in the room were great. Plenty hot water. Wifi excellent. No frills, but everyone was willing to help. Very convenient location for the Hawaii conference Centre and the Ala Moana shopping centre
Disliked: Quite noisy as on the main road. Room lighting is bad (except the bathroom). Decor very dated and bathrooms, although clean could do with a upgrade of the tiling. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Could be a good 3 star. Reception on first floor with stairs from street level. No elevator to reception.

Disliked: My room was old and not very clean. 2 days no cleaning

Exceptional

Liked: The location was great for tour pickups and food and shopping. The servers at the bar were so nice and they had excellent breakfast offerings and great coffee reasonably priced. All the employees were very helpful and pleasant.
Disliked: It wasn't a problem for us but the pool is not like a resort. It's close to the beach if you're staying a longer time.

Love this hotel

Liked: I love the size of the hotel, the decor, the location. The staff are so sweet and helpful. Lincoln helped me book the room on the phone, and answered all my questions in person. The price was great. I stay at the Equus whenever I go to Waikiki.
Disliked: Nothing was wrong. Everything was great!
