Liked: Staff were great, very well presented and friendly
Disliked: The room we were given was very dark and dingy, although room and facilities were clean, there was a strong smell of damp. (Room 23)

for the price our stay...

Liked: Facilities were adequate, breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly.
Disliked: location a bit out of the way.

We booked bed breakfast and...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Although we were in another room on our own as we had a dog, with us. Evening meal was good. Bar was comfortable and warm.
Disliked: Bed was very basic. Shower was poor. The photos of the building were better than the actual building. Bit shabby. Could smell damp/musty in passage way to bed room. Carpet damaged. Weather was poor. The surrounding area was ruin down.

An ok place to stay...

Liked: Great location if walking the coast to coast. Friendly reception staff. Comfortable bed and complimentary refreshments in the room. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Warm and spacious room.
Disliked: Bathroom was extremely tired with cracked loose tiles on the floor (bit of a hazard) and the bath taps didn’t work. Breakfast was ok but evening meal in the restaurant was not great.
