Liked: Beautiful town, comfortable room and bed. Friendly staff. I enjoyed the platypus tour with Mike.
Disliked: Only thing I would say is they didn't refresh my towels or soap in the bathrooms and they didn't refresh items in the breakfast room very often as there was no instant coffee for 2 days. If you are a coffee person it is a must. Nkt a deal breaker though. Just be mindful.

Exceptional

Liked: The old world charm, staff super friendly and helpful. The platypus tour from the hotel was a bonus. Breakfast good.
Disliked: N/a

Acceptable.

Liked: Location was good - the property had a nice decor and feel. The Wi-Fi worked well and the room was quiet.
Disliked: Breakfast was not what I expected - there could have been cut and chilled fresh fruit which would have improved my rating. Also the breakfast area was not monitored by staff which raised some potential hygene concerns but it was a weekend which could have influenced that. The bathroom was unique but functional.

Disliked: I would have like a pump bottle of moisturiser in the dining room for communal use. We just had carry on luggage so couldn’t carry any liquids.

Slept well, ate well and...

Liked: Very comfortable stay and good food and service for dinner. Enjoyed the self service breakfast. Went on the free guided platypus tour which was fantastic. Enjoyed sitting in the bar by the open fire. We had a last minute change to our booking and the hotel was extremely sympathetic and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing
