Liked: I was very surprised, pleasantly surprised how clean, tasteful, and comfortable the rooms were. It felt like I was staying in an upscale spa resort. The rooms were very tasteful, full of amenities, and the owners spared no expense in comfort.

Renovated room with no carpet...

Liked: The room had been recently renovated, which was a nice surprise—no carpet, which is a huge plus. The location is also great, close to everything you might need in South Lake Tahoe.
Disliked: While the renovation and location are appreciated, these motels trying to look more upscale still don’t justify the high price tag (especially on Saturdays).

Comfortable for one night but...

Liked: Good location; room was tastefully furnished; amenities and snacks were considerate and it was affordable.
Disliked: Cleaning (perfuming) smell in the room was too strong; refrigerator and heating/ac units were noisy as was the bed frame; stairs leading to the room didn’t have a landing, making them dangerous when carrying luggage.

Amazing

Liked: The rooms are way to perfect and comfortable plus is only one block away from downtown town also the staff team is super nice
Disliked: Nothing to say we like it a lot

Okay stay.

Liked: Room was nicely laid out, nice little touches in the room. Bed was very comfortable except that it is on a metal base which squeaks when you move.
Disliked: Need curtains in the room, not blinds as too much gap on the sides with light coming in. Our room was facing the road so you felt very exposed unless you had the blinds down.The room was very very noisy from road traffic and also from others staying. Outside the rooms needs sprucing up, it doesn't match the feel of the rooms inside.
