Good

Liked: Residence is lovely and room very comfortable. Mike was great and the breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: Welcome was disappointing compared to our previous visits. Maintenance person met us. Dining chairs were stacked on top of the dining table. No one came later to turn lights on or put fireplace on (as occurred on previous visits). We had told our friends, who were visiting for the first time, how fabulous The Eddie was so I was a bit disappointed at their first impression- they weren't welcomed in the manner we had come to expect and had previously experienced. We didn't see anyone until 8:30 this morning. Mike was great however and made everything look good and the breakfast was delicious.

Amazing stay, lovely hosts, 100%...

Liked: We stayed in the Carriage House. Great property, lovely hosts, beautiful house and nice breakfast. The location is good, close to the towns and quiet.
Disliked: Overall it was perfect just the loud heating system that turns on and off constantly. Not terrible but it woke us up a couple of times at night.

Elegant historic home and property...

Liked: Loved the hotel interior and the grounds and outbuildings were beautiful. Our room was very small but cozy. Loved that we were able to bring our dog. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: It is a beautiful historic home with original wood floors-you could hear everything. Owners were not on site. Staff person was inexperienced and couldn’t answer many of our questions. House was left unstaffed and unlocked at night.
