Liked: Lovely staff. Curry buffet on Monday nights excellent. The jam session of musicians on the night was at first a turn off but the folk music they played was great, no amplifiers or loud speakers, lovely people to talk to as well. Although I went to bed early they did not keep me awake. Will definitely stay again.
Disliked: Nothing

Friendly staff, cozy bar, adequate...
Liked: The hotel is really a pub with rooms above, 2 of which are ensuite. Although evening meals are available in the bar (we didn't eat there), breakfast is served at the nearby golf club cafe, just a minute's walk away. The breakfast menu choice and food quality were excellent.
Disliked: The hotel is typical of many small family owned hotels. The facilities were perfectly adequate but the decor was a little tired and the shower tile grouting was stained. With some modest investment the hotel could be pretty good.
