Liked: Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Evening meal was terrible as it was giving to someone else so had to wait long for it and when it came it was cold. I did get a refund as I was not waiting for the 3 time.

Liked: Disappointing stay. Room access via small staircase with a firedoor at top was a challenge to negotiate. Bedroom not set up w2 beds.. We waited over an hour for our starter in the restaurant - a regular occurrence apparently. Generally disappointed. The thing that saved it from a poor review was the excellent mini bites selection available in the bar, which were delicious!

Avoid the burger meal

Liked: The shower! Fabulous! The location was great.
Disliked: The food was simply awful..You need to know this is spoiling the whole thing. Chose the burger meal for evening dinner. The burger was very hard, and cold in the middle. Twice! The skin on fries were lukewarm at best. There was a small bowl with a burger sauce. It arrived on both occasions with a skin on the surface. Not good! Some people were sat near me and volunteered that they never eat here! They even recommended the pub over the road as they serve'local butchers meat'. With decent food, this place could fly! One important point regarding the breakfast would be to serve it on a hot plate. Much better.

Liked: Breakfast was good. You need to pay extra, but there is a good choice on order. On a weekend it's busy, so you need to wait too much for breakfast.
