Room amazing, but eat elsewhere

Liked: Room was very nice, roomy and had everything needed. Sadly the restaurant let them down, otherwise we would have scored 9
Disliked: Evening meal was a complete and utter farce. We had to wait for 2.25 hours for our meal. Quality of food was poor as was the portion sizes. We were offered a free drink and dessert, however it was a little too late to compensate for the wait.

Liked: Requested a room with a bath ....agreed then told on arrival no rooms have baths.I no this is not true as have stayed in a room with bath previously

Warm welcome great hotel

Liked: Excellent hotel and restaurant. Very welcoming staff and delicious food, the key to a good stay; nice showers, warm room, hot water when you need it and well maintained. This is a good hotel, with a lovely pub atmosphere, excellent location and free car parking
Disliked: Nothing although I preferred room 14 to room 16.

Liked: I liked the new smartness of the hotel from when we stayed a couple of years ago
Disliked: The price was a little bit expensive just for bed. I think breakfast could be included in the price that we paid
