Overall great place

Liked: Price point & proximity to town.
Disliked: Room was small but adequate, not much privacy for the shower though.

Great stay, thank you!

Liked: Great stay at The Duke! Our host was lovely, gave a friendly welcome and made the check in super easy. Room was quiet (even though it was a busy weekend) and the bed was comfy. Shower was great, nice towels and there were plenty of drawers, hangers etc.

Very good

Liked: Refurbished rooms done to high standard. Bed very comfortable. Good to see effort going into preserving heritage via being commercially useful.
Disliked: Lack of security on windows on first floor, given that access to balcony wide open. Kitchen cleaning sponges surprisingly few.
