Liked: The hotel is small, so there are no lines at the elevator. The location is great, you can walk around and the subway station is a couple of blocks away. I loved the huge bed in the room, and I found it pretty comfy.
Disliked: The stay was nothing special. I intuitively picked it, probably for design on pictures. The hotel is small and this is why I normally choose boutique hotels. It was my birthday trip and I expected nice staff with above average attention to detail and care. It is okay that they didn't notice the day of our arrival was my birthday, I'm not the queen, but neither the staff in the bar was very polite. A typical NYC problem - the walls are thin, and there was a very noisy company next door. All in all, it was just okay. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends, but neither would stop anyone from booking it.
