Fun weekend in Calgary

Liked: Great location & very pretty hotel
Disliked: The woman at reception at check in was professional & polite, I know I got there earlier than 4pm & had to wait till after 4 to get my room, that was not so much of an issue, she filled in all my info including ID, CC & Marriott # to save time & I sat in the coffee shop ordered a coffee & then in the lobby but the Asian guy who came to the front desk & started checking us in after 4 while she was also there asked me again for my ID & CC, she was still at the counter & there was only 2 of us waiting for rooms, without asking her what was completed, I told him this was already down and looked at her but he insisted I provided ID again, he could have asked her to compete the check in if he did not feel comfortable.. he then acknowledged after I gave him my ID they it was already in the system!! my first impression & was not the best the rest of the stay was good

Great hotel but reception should...

Liked: Beautiful interiors, cute cafe, comfortable beds, great bathroom amenities. Love the personality and character of the hotel.
Disliked: The reception were not friendly or helpful - the hotel room wasn't ready at the 4pm check-in time and we had to wait until 5pm to check-in and the only explanation we got was "it's one of those days".
