Liked: The rooms were clean and to a high standard.
Disliked: Upon booking, the confirmation email(in small writing) advised that a $150 deposit would be taken upon arrival and that it would be refunded 14 days after our (one night) visit. Due to the exchange rate on our card we didn’t realise until after we left that they had actually taken a $430 deposit from our card, triple the advised amount, with no reason as to why. There’s a certain class of people staying here, which we clearly didn’t meet. We only stayed here for a night to watch the ice hockey match as it was rated so highly location-wise, but we were met with judging glances at our casual attire by guests and staff alike. The alarm clock in our room also woke us up at 6am as it had clearly been set by a previous guest, and we were barely given a “sorry” when mentioning it at checkout.
