You can do better for...

Liked: The bed was comfy, the bathroom was lovely and if that’s what you need, then this was great
Disliked: The aircon in the room didn’t work, the minibar was empty, apart from 1 can of water, the tea and coffee hadn’t been restocked, let’s not even talk about breakfast! Admittedly I am gluten free - nothing was marked for allergens on the buffet, so I had to order of the Al la carte menu, the food turned up 25-30 mins later and was cold - I was also charged £4 for a cup of tea with no milk, sugar or even a tea spoon. When I said the food was cold, the staff just shrugged as I paid the bill.Sounds like lots of little niggles, but when you’re paying 360 for a basic room, and then there are add on charges for what seems like everything, you expect the service to be great and the little things not to matter.On check out I was asked about my stay, said I’d had better, and they didn’t respond - just carried on checking me out.I’d never stay here again

A disappointing visit on this...

Liked: This is a stylish hotel. We have stayed several times before, but this time were left rather disappointed.
Disliked: The room was very small, I could hardly walk around the bed. The heating didn’t work on the first night, so the room was freezing. Service at breakfast was very slow.

Wouldn’t visit again

Liked: Well equipped
Disliked: I booked a twin room and when I arrived I was offered a king bed. They added a camp bed in for us which was very uncomfortable.

Served it’s purpose but thought...

Disliked: No view with the room. Breakfast was very average for a 4 star hotel.

Liked: location was good
Disliked: Reception was slow and then the keys didn't work and the first room we were offered was in the basement so had to move

Liked: The high quality design. The location was excellent and the little extras. Free upgrade for our anniversary.

Gorgeous property, let down by...

Liked: The property itself is great. An old converted court house. It’s been so well done. The location is also fantastic.
Disliked: The staff at the hotel, apart from one lovely lady in the hotel bar, are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. It was quite staggering. These people really should not work in the hospitality business. Too late we read so many other reviews that said exactly the same thing!
