Very disappointed.

Liked: We liked the history of the building and the decor.
Disliked: Unfortunately the description of the King Room was inaccurate, it did not come with a minibar nor a bottle of Champagne. The hotel staff did give us a bottle of Prosecco as compensation but it wasn’t available at check in, which meant it was warm when we eventually got back to the room after being out for dinner. The shower had yellow stains and the room (even with all the lights on was very dark). My partner and I travel frequently over Europe and the bed was probably the most uncomfortable I have slept in. For the price paid I and the hotel chain I would have expected much much better and at the very least a view other than a dirty court yard. The drinks in bar were sub par for the price. My partner commented that it was the worse passion fruit martini she was ever had and my old fashioned was very very weak, way below what I would expect given the price point.
