Take a step back

Liked: As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the staff were friendly and informative. The hotel's location was perfect for us as we were visiting family and also wanted to spend some time by the sea without having to drive. We also made use of the health spa facilities.
Disliked: Sadly, some of the furniture in the room could do with fixing; chairs were wobbly, and the sofa bed was unusable. However, I love the retro decor!

Decent value, venue is stunning…however...

Liked: Space in the two bedroom suite was great! Wi-Fi good and fire tv worked really well so did the iPads on the Wi-Fi network. Location great!
Disliked: Radiator in the lounge didn’t work, two oil filled portable radiators made it warm enough that were provided so I take they knew it wasn’t working!Decor dated and could do with a facelift. Steam room and sauna not working properly. Chairs in the lounge had pieces of wood under them as they’d obviously been repaired so really uncomfortable!

Excellent value stay - would...

Liked: Considering what I had paid for my room, I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a bedroom with ensuite facilities, a separate lounge with kitchenette and a balcony with views out to sea - incredible valueThe "Winter warmer" offer for food was also incredibly good value and the price of the breakfast was less than I'd have expected to pay - probably the best value booking I have made in years! Having a hotel with gym and swimming pool was a bonus as it meant I could try to offset some of the extra weight gained at Christmas
Disliked: The décor was obviously dated, but everywhere was clean and tidy - I could tell that some work was going on whilst I was there and this place offers excellent value
