Liked: Hotel was spot on. Staff were great. The leisure complex opens at 6am so perfect for an early riser like myself. Pool was warm and inviting.

Disliked: Many white van drivers staying, took up all the parking, on balconys at night smoking and taking. not english, had to keep windows closed.

A friendly well positioned hotel

Liked: The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very clean. The swimming pool and facilities were good. The garden is very nice and the location was great. The hotel, although very dated, has a charm. The restaurant food was homemade and reasonably priced.
Disliked: The shower lacked any power - the hot tap had turned be turned on full and the cold water turned on a little bit just to get enough flow to get properly wet. The hotel is very dated and the mattresses could do with replacing.

Over priced for the quality...

Liked: The flat was a good size.
Disliked: The property was as clean as it could be but sticky carpets, slugs, peeling wallpaper etc are there. For £150 a night the space is great but everything is quite old. The staff on checking out couldn’t care less, we weren’t asked about our stay or how anything was. This hotel could be beautiful, the grounds are lovely but it’s just old.
