Comfortable but not the value...

Liked: The room was large and bed was very comfortable. There was a mini bar and sink in the room. There was a large closet and bathroom. The bar was pleasant as was the bar staff. Housekeeping staff were excellent.
Disliked: Emphasis on a dress code, including signing documents that I would follow it - but many guests did not follow it. No coffee machine in room. Front desk service of poor quality. No help with luggage. The elevator was not always working. Service well below expectation for a hotel at this price point.

Liked: The building is beautiful, the bed was amazing! Every staff with whom we interacted was extremely friendly and helpful. It was within a nice walk to both the arena and stadium for our NHL and NFL games.
Disliked: The breakfast offering was fair, nothing exceptional, and we needed to ask a number of times for items to be refilled. Based on the cost of the stay, this could have been given more attention.Also, we would have loved being told by staff about the free people-mover that was just across the street from the hotel.. we would have enjoyed taking advantage of it to get to our games.

Liked: Gorgeous historical building - expected much more from the room for $500/night.
Disliked: I put in a special (easy) request to the hotel in advance of our arrival. It was a surprise for my husband’s birthday. I’d asked that a bottle of chilled champagne and whatever dessert they’d choose be in the room upon our arrival. It didn’t happen and the gentleman checking us in asked us multiple questions about it (husband right there). An easy request to make the arrival special, blown. Bummed.

Memorable Property

Liked: unique property and interior furnishings. the room was well appointed, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: location not accessible to much, a little pricey
