A hotel with character (but...

Liked: A hotel with character in the middle of Providence, close to several bars and restaurants and the State Capitol. The rooms have a clean, modern feel but the hotel has an historical vibe. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful.
Disliked: The wifi had insufficient bandwidth to stream, even at low quality (which is very unusual these days), but it was fine for general browsing. Overnight parking is incredibly steep at $38 but you can park for free on the street outside from 6pm-8am and pre-pay the meter for the first 2 hours in the morning.

Relaxing

Liked: Fantastic staff, room was great. Location is fantastic, lots of great bars and restaurants nearby.
Disliked: Ice machine was not working on my floor.

Decent joint

Liked: It was very close to the convention I went to, everything I wanted was within walking distance, nice aesthetic to the building and room.
Disliked: There was no refrigerator, the bathroom felt a little cramped.
