Liked: On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be told that we had been given a room upgrade and what a lovely room it was, more like a suite, with a separate seating area with its own TV in addition to the one in the bedroom area.Breakfasts were excellent, as were lunch and dinner over the two night stay.Staff were all lovely and very obliging.We hadn’t stayed here previously, although we had been a few times and had meals/drinks outside overlooking the river but we will definitely come back soon.

Liked: Location great, nice room. Breakfast could have been better.
Disliked: Breakfast and the fact was charged more than should have for the room after making an error on only adding booking for one person it was then adjusted to two adults but charged more for room than was available to buy on booking!

Liked: Evening meal and breakfast both very good. Especially the breakfast, good quality ingredients.
Disliked: Presume staff must be in the rooms on the top floor. Noisy from 6am onwards which disturbed sleep.

Liked: Great staff, food, atmosphere and location. If you want a traditional cosy English pub vibe this sis the place.Parking is off site feels secure but it’s not far wasn’t a problem and there is also spaces out the front.
