Super stopover

Liked: Dog friendly, superb accommodation, breakfast available from 6am on a Sunday, Saturday night evening meal was superb. Will definitely be back. A gem of a place
Disliked: Parking a tad difficult but staff really helpful. It was busy so couldn't be helped when in a village location

Ok for what we needed

Liked: Was surprised to find we were in a 3 bed cottage rather than just a room. Was basic but adequate for our needs
Disliked: Breakfast was poor, couldn’t understand the ‘choose your egg then we’ll serve from the buffet’ rather than us being able to either order the food fresh or just help ourselves. The sausages, bacon and hash browns tasted like they’d been sat for some time and we left most of the food.

Nice B&B on the countryside

Liked: Nice building with lovely bar/ restaurant The room was clean and the breakfast was good
Disliked: The mattress wasn’t very good and the water wasn’t hot enough
