Good value for money. Would...

Liked: Welcomed by friendly staff at the bar. Location is very handy being right on the sea front. Room was very clean and had individual thermostat to control temperature. They're clearly investing in the property with new locks and smart thermostats which is great to see. Also I didn't eat in the restaurant myself but the menu looked great and I've been told by friends who live locally that the food is great.
Disliked: A few small issues: Smart door lock was temperemantal and had to use the backup manual key half the time as the smart lock is also quite noisy so didn't want to do multiple repeated attempts late at night. Mattress was tired with a rather big dip on one side of the bed. Fine for me as I was staying solo but could imagine it not being comfortable if staying as a couple. Window soundproofing is not the best which couple with the traditional seaside seagulls and being by the main road meant I woke up earlier than planned. Also lack of bedside plug sockets was a minor nuisance as I couldn't have my phone by the bed which I use for an alarm.I do want to be clear that each of these are minor complaints and nothing spoiled my stay overall and I would stay again. But would be great to see some of these issues addressed on a return visit.
