Gorgeous hotel in a lovely...

Liked: This is our second time staying in the hotel, we also stayed last December. The hotel is stunning inside, cosy little country vibes with big Christmas trees and open fire and I love the addition of the jigsaw in the lobby. The spa is amazing and we have never found it too busy. We didn’t have breakfast this year but we did last year and it was great. The location is perfect for us, not too far from York after Christmas markets and there’s a lovely pub over the road that served great food. We stayed there all night to watch the boxing. Only one thing I will say is the walls are very thin, you can hear next door talking. Fortunately for us we travelled as a group of 6 so the people either side were family so this wasn’t an issue. Beds are really comfy and the blackout blinds keep the room very dark. I had an amazing sleep. Will definitely be back, love this hotel.

Disliked: Smart TV would not link to Internet or phone.
