Liked: First rate breakfast for choice, quality and service. Room and en-suite generally comfortable. A characterful building right in the town centre.
Disliked: This very old building inevitably had a number of narrow steep stairs to our third-floor room. Our visit was in an unseasonably cold November and the bathroom wasn't very warm. The main bedroom relied on a (completely adequate) portable fan heater as the main system only blew cold air. A welcome pack of information would have helped but there was nothing.

We would book again but...

Liked: Very good location in town. Free parking in the hotels car park. Nice cooked breakfast served by our lovely waitress Julie.
Disliked: Traffic noise and room was a bit cold as no radiator just a small electric heater.

Liked: In the middle of Abingdon, close to all the shops and restaurant’s
Disliked: Nothing special, just getting a bit tired all round

Liked: The bar and restaurant were fab as were the staff in there.
Disliked: The bedroom was cold with only an air con unit for heating. Bathroom was very cold in the morning and no hot water in the bathroom at all meant a cold shower and a wet shave in cold water.

Disliked: shabby entrance in hall/staircase threadbare worn carpet and dirty decor carpet in bedroom was dirty ,noise from traffic kept us awake from 4am.we paid for a 2 night stay ,but left after first night.
