Disliked: Hygiene of the bedroom was appalling; sheets and carpet dirty. I found hairs in the bed and cups!! I had no remote control for the television and had to ask for one and made to feel it was my problem. The bathroom radiator was not working and when I reported it I was ignored. I asked for internet connection and was ignored. Totally not acceptable for £90!! When I checked out I was not even greeted; I felt I was totally ignored and labelled as an annoyance.

Lovely village pub, great value...

Liked: Lovely owners and a beautiful pub. We had a really good meal here. This is brilliant value for money. You are very close to both Stowe and Bletchley Park, along with lots of picturesque villages.
Disliked: The room itself was a little dusty and the bathroom could have been deep cleaned. You are above the kitchen so there was a distinct frying smell on occasion, although that probably can’t be avoided. The staff had placed air fresheners to presumably help with this.

Enjoyable one night stopover.
