Liked: Very clean, comfy bed and pillows
Disliked: Bathroom was quite chilly. Box of Kleenex and coffee maker would be nice.

A sweet setting and a...
Liked: It was a very nice setting. The room was clean, just an interesting layout, nothing bad though.
Disliked: A bit off the interstate, but not too bad. There was no staff on site and we needed to know if our bicycles would be able to fit in our room, but there was no one to ask by phone. We had to physically drive there to ask someone on site before booking.

A Unique Motel Experience Priced...
Liked: The property is a charming boutique motel nestled in the heart of Sterling with attractive and inviting public spaces and cozy, modern accommodations. Check-in and check-out are contactless -- the property manager/owner sends you a text message the day of check-in that indicates your room number and provides an access code.
Disliked: There is no staff on the premises, and therefore, communication with management is problematic and inconvenient. If you cannot receive text messages on your mobile device, and have booked that day, you will have a difficult time getting your room's access code. A couple from Iowa knocked on our door the night we were there because they were in this situation, and didn't know how to contact the manager to obtain their access code. They said they called the number provided in the booking, but no one answered. On their behalf, I sent a text message to the owner/manager explaining the situation, but no one replied to me, not even to tell me that they were able to assist the couple with getting into their room. I felt the communication could have been better and there should be safety nets for these special circumstances. Also, there is no ice or vending on the premises.
