Liked: The space was beautiful and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: Weirdly, there didn't seem to be consistent hot water.

Heritage inn close to everything

Liked: Great location. Historic setting and ambience. Spacious room and lounging (common) areas for reading, relaxing.

A very authentic and nice...

Liked: The house is wonderfully decorated. Warm and welcoming. We were happily on the top floor but be aware that if your bags are big and heavy the stair case in narrow and windy.Breakfast of croissants and eggs very good. I recommend leaving out the chips/fries. Coffee good and plentiful. Good assortment of juice and jams.
Disliked: Ran out of hot water so I had a chilly shower in the late afternoon. Checkin begins at 3pm however staff member did not greet us until about 3:30. In her defence there was a note just inside the entrance asking that we ring the bell if we needed assistance and no-one was around. Neither we nor the other couple saw the sign. Eventually one of us proceeded to walk about til we found her.
