Liked: Location was good and close enough to the shopping centre.
Disliked: There was no lift to the upper floors, which proved difficult for an ageing couple.

A lovely peaceful break surrounded...

Liked: Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast / evening meal was good. Shower not very powerful, noisy room next to a generator or air conditioning unit, squeaky fire door next to bedroom was 1 was annoying. Some of the decor in the common areas was a bit tired.

Excellent location, clean, pleasant staff...

Liked: Beautiful location. Quiet. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was available at an extra cost on my booking but was beautiful quality and good value. Staff are always extremely pleasant and helpful. Generally very clean in all areas of the hotel. Bed was ok but basic quality/standard.No telephone in the bedroom to call reception. No water in the rooms ( option to purchase at the bar ) no shower cap.

Good value for money stay,...

Liked: Nice staff, good room price, clean and comfy beds, plentiful hot water. Easy parking.
Disliked: Whole building looking a bit neglected, inside and out. Lots of paintwork shabby / missing , draughty bedroom window, bathroom door didn’t shut and traffic noise evident although not enough to interrupt sleep. Some noise apparent from adjoining room and below ( our room above the loos for the pub).

An overnight stay in Ilkley

Liked: Great location above Ilkley with marvellous views and plenty of walking trails. Only a short drive into Ilkley where there are plenty of good shops and pubs/restaurants
