A must for fans of...

Liked: Stayed in the Outlander room. Its not the one used in the series in case you were wondering, but of course the Covenanter itself does feature in episode 1 of the first series.For fans of the series, (like us), its really nice to go to Falkland and place yourself in the location of the filming. The village itself is lovely, and very quiet.Declan, who was working in the pub that night, was a very chatty great guy, who introduce us to a few of the whiskies on the shelf. I ended up ordering one of them the next day..
Disliked: Unfortunately, we arrived on Sunday afternoon, only to find out that no food was served that evening which was disappointing.. We had to make do with some bread and cheese from the local shop because this was the only place. I believe they do serve food every other night though, and the menu did look nice.

Liked: a cult place for fans of the Outlander series. and that's it really. wasted potential
Disliked: many things are wrong here. very poor breakfast, room small and a bit neglected, at night the staff turns off the heating!

Liked: Cozy, atmospheric hotel. Small, basic, but comfortable room. Couldn't get a better location in the town. Good dinner in their dining area. Parking across the street. The village of Falkland a delight.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Location, breakfast, staff, restaurant.
Disliked: The heater didn't work as it should. The romm was super cold all the time.Suddenly the internet on the tv switch off and didn't work anymore even though the staff tried for 2 hours to fix it.

Liked: (Outlander room) Lovely area, friendly staff, bed was comfy. Shower was powerful, WiFi great, sky TV, tea, coffee, shortbread and water provided. Lovely food available
Disliked: A little overpriced Shower head/hose were dirtyBlind was brokenUnfortunately there was something burrowing in the loft above through the night, presuming it was a squirrel

Liked: Breakfast could not fault
Disliked: Not much the room had switches that didn't work the conditioner dispenser didn't work but all in all nothing
