Liked: The staff were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived, especially Andra, the Reception Manager. We got a free upgrade which was a bonus after a long journey stuck in traffic. The room was lovely, very clean and up together. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a great location for shopping, restaurants and pubs. I’ve stayed here a few times before and will definitely be returning.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff were wonderful and the food was ok
Disliked: Cleanliness of bedding - although covers and towels were clean and fresh the bed duvet and cushions were smelly.Decor tired. Signage to rooms convoluted. Intermittent motor noise disrupted sleep several times. Extremely bright daylight floodlights right outside made it hard to sleep again, unable to block out light as curtains don't fit flush to walls or meet in the middle properly.

Could of been better.

Liked: Great area, nice place, got parking easily, clean. Great Manager.
Disliked: First rude bar man. Who manager sorted out. Toilet seat not attached and nearly fell on the floor, breakfast couldn't be sat together which I was annoyed about as I booked together and the only reason to being there was to see each other for one day. This might not be fair as I was annoyed already, they had a wedding the night before and it was very busy at breakfast but food was cold, Dont know about meat stuff as we’re vegetarians they had to find me 2 chairs didn't have a fork, getting tea was quite hard as the waitresses were busyand the tea it was awful, Ended up paying £15 for a bowl of porridge, which was hot and lovely.
