Was very nice and would...

Liked: Peace of mind and relaxation. Very friendly staff and accommodating and professionable.
Disliked: To be honest must of being an electrical issue. But switches and lights didn't work In parts of the room. Stupid note I've a sweet tooth and 2 packs of sugars between myself and the wife is a stupid complaint but most hotels do this so I don't see a problem. Went for rest and relaxation and was top notch

Good

Liked: Staff were excellent and very friendly. Gym and pool were also very good. Good atmosphere around the hotel.
Disliked: Too much noise in the Hall ways at night while trying to sleep on both nights. Noise being made for hours by both children and drunk adults.

Liked: We love the connaught. Having been coming to this Hotel even before it was the connaught.
Disliked: I was charged by the hotel and bookings.com. My husband noticed it 5 days later. He rang the hotel and yes they did refund but if we didn't notice we were out of pocket.

Disappointing

Liked: the swimming pool was excellent for kids. It had plenty of space, different areas to explore, and stepped sections, making it safe and fun. The location of the hotel is also quite convenient.
Disliked: Our experience at this hotel was disappointing overall. The first bedroom we were given was filthy—clearly not hoovered, with rubbish from previous guests still on the floor. To make matters worse, the TV and remote weren’t working. To their credit, the front desk moved us to a much better room. It was cleaner, but again, the TV wasn’t set up or connected to any channels or the internet. I ended up connecting it myself and managed to get YouTube working for the kids. The food was below average. While the dinner menu looked appealing, the execution fell short. The monkfish was dry, almost crispy from sitting under heat lamps for too long, and the pizza was quite uninspiring.Breakfast had a decent variety of options, but most items were cold and sat in trays of oil under lamps for far too long—standard hotel fare, unfortunately.Another disappointment was the state of the bathrooms at breakfast. They were still filthy from the night before, as the bar and restaurant share the same facilities.Overall, while some staff efforts were appreciated, the stay didn’t meet expectations.
