Liked: Keeping the original art deco theme. Bathroom n shower very good. Bed comfortable. Meal very nice.
Disliked: Don’t need music playing when sitting in beer garden. For people from the city it’s just more of the same noise. Nice to have quiet. Fridge hummed DLL night annoying.

Liked: We have stayed at this hotel before and were happy to return for our 2nd visit. The boutique hotel rooms are exceptional.
Disliked: The menu in the restaurant is “strange”. It seems like the chef is just trying too hard. The mixture of ingredients in the dishes are just over the top. It’s Tenterfield; keep it simple. By all means just because you’re in Tenterfield doesn’t mean you have to cook basic food, but even as an example; the only bread offering on the menu was garlic bread that was stuffed with all manner of things. We asked the waiter could we just get plain garlic bread, or even just a plain dinner roll. No was the answer. The chef only does his/her elaborate stuffed garlic bread. Tough luck if you don’t like the stuffing mixes.Look at Bowral as an example- another very nice regional town where the chefs “get it”.
