Refused the breakfast that I...

Liked: Comfortable and clean, good staff in the evening. Not served the breakfast that I had paid for in the morning.
Disliked: Despite booking and paying for a room and breakfast, the staff in the morning refused to serve me breakfast and wanted me to pay again. The messages from booking.com said that I had a room with breakfast.

Liked: Nice rustic pub and restaurant with a big car park. Bathroom was very nice with good walk in shower.
Disliked: Uncomfortable single bed with a very tired saggy mattress. Was like sleeping in a pit.

Liked: We checked in at 3.20 and booked an evening meal at 6.30 as it was a Sunday the menu was very basic apart from Sunday roasts. Sunny afternoon so a couple of drinks in the garden till our meal at 6.30 when were informed that all the roasts had gone, asked why we were not informed that this might happen on check in so we could have eaten earlier it was a really not interested attitude. What was left on the menu was not appealing to us and because we had had a couple of drinks, driving was not an option either, so we ended up not eating at all.Rooms very dated and bed very hard.

Liked: We always stay at the Colney Fox when visiting family.It is always good value for money and very comfortable.This time particularly we had a really cheap deal.

Liked: Didn’t eat breakfast. Staff great, room ok but not clean and that is a dealbreaker for me.
Disliked: I always strip the bed when I leave a hotel. Upon removing the sheets the mattress cover was badly stained and there was an unwashed blood mark. That is not just disgusting it’s a serious health hazard. Plug hole in the bathroom was brown.
