Some improvements are needed for...
Liked: The property is located close to the tram that goes to the train station. It is also very well maintained and decorated tastefully. The staff and especially Peter were welcoming snd helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard.
Disliked: We were given a room that didn't look like the pictures on Booking.com. There was almost no water pressure. 2 stairs did lead to the bed. I fell in the middle of the night trying to get to the bathroom and hurt my ankle.

Liked: The architecture.Friendly staff.Location.Maintained well.
Disliked: Small rooms (Queen room) with no possibility to air the room out.Water leaked out from the shower (maybe only in our room)

It was just ok, nothing...
Liked: The location is very good, near to main tourist attractions in Amsterdam.The personnel was very helpful to solve the problems during the stay. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The payment mechanism through Booking.com was not clear for the hotel. Even if I selected payment directly in the hotel, my credit card has been charged three times (twice prior arrival to the city). It was very difficult to determine which charge is typical the pre-authorisation, which is the payment. This should never happen.There was no typical breakfast buffet with hot dishes. It was a possibility to order hot dishes from the service staff but in my opinion it was very risku due the missing possibility to virtually check if the dishses looked ok. Also, there was no open coffee machine available for the guests. It was a possibility to order coffe also from the service staff but - in my case - I had to wait almost 15 minutes for the coffee.
