This 19th-century coaching inn is located in the heart of Chester city center. There is a 4-star award-winning restaurant downstairs and 8 rooms above. A great break in a...

Liked: Good location. Big room. Clean. Friendly.
Disliked: Common areas look tired - especially carpet on entrance stairs. Quite a bit of street noise from outside - but it is in the centre of a busy and thriving town!

Liked: Fantastic location, very central for our Christmas stay and short distance from our concert and the cathedral. great rooms and food.

Great staff, great location, we...

Liked: Attentiveness of all of the staff, we were accommodated every time we requested anything, from drinks to a taxi when leaving after our stay. We will definately use the hotel again.

Very good

Liked: Great location and good bar area.
Disliked: The rooms were dated and in need of updating. Especially the bed and sheets etc. All the facilities in the room were okay and for the price it was acceptable. We paid extra for the breakfast and whilst it looked good, it all had a super greasy taste to all of the ingredients.
