Once a medieval coaching inn this hotel is located less than 10 minutes' walk from Pembroke's impressive castle along the quaint high street. The Coach House Hotel offers free private parking and free Wi-Fi access. English food is served in the wooden-floored stylish restaurant and there is an on-site bar. Scenic walks can be around the Mill Pond which is accessible from the bottom of The Coach House Hotel's lovely garden. Not somewhere I would stay...

Liked: Beds were comfy
Disliked: The room was extremely cold with no heating working in the bathroom. My 6yo wouldn’t go in there as too cold. The shower had extreme mould build up, the wash basin furniture had mould, the Lino in the bathroom was ripped and had a hole in it, the towels were dirty and had what looked like lipstick over them. Workmen emptying the cesspit or drainage works at 8:30 on a Saturday morning outside our room.

Charming, old world

Liked: Just loved the atmosphere of the Coach House Hotel. Staff were very friendly, informative & helpful

I would stay again and...

Friendly staff, good location, clean...

Liked: We loved the decor. It had a sort of bouquet style. We loved the wooden furniture and coordinated curtains etc.The lounge area was warm and cosy The carpet on stairs is soft, like your feet will sink inside and you just want to sleep on the carpet.The room was sparkly clean. There was a good variety of teas coffee and water in the bedroomShower was good.Staff all friendly The meal on Thursday night was delicious. 5 of us ate, we had no complaints. The Code was large, salmon large, everything hot and tasty.The breakfast we had Friday and Saturday is well cooked. There is something for everyone.We travelled for a wedding and was not disappointed
Disliked: The only comment I would make and it's not a complaint. The restaurant and bar is closed on Friday. There are local places nearby to drink and eat.

Good location, pleasant room and...

Liked: Good breakfast and mostly good food. One night my husband had a duck dish from the specials menu. Duck was so tough he couldn’t eat it. He told the waiter, but was reluctant to complain. I would have expected the waiter to mention it to the chef anyway, but no. We ate elsewhere for dinner for the rest of our stay.
Disliked: No atmosphere in the bar. Not a place to linger. On two nights, the gents toilet in the bar stank. Later in the week it was OK. This was surprising, because the standard of cleanliness was otherwise outstanding.
