It was ok, nothing special.

Liked: Rooms are nice and quiet behind the pub courtyard. Beds very comfortable. Everything clean apart from really dirty paintwork around windows and privacy blind. Breakfast was ok. Location a good 25 min drive to Oxford.

Great stopover for a night...

Liked: The room was spacious warm and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The towels were large, super white and fluffy and the toiletries were lush. Staff were helpful, location was good and we opted for breakfast which was nice. There was water ( still and sparkling) in the room, plus good quality tea and coffee and lovely fresh milk from the bar. There was only one downside and that was the shower which was over the bath and electric. The water pressure wasn’t good and the bath was high so stepping into it might prove difficult for older people or those less able.
