Great as always

Liked: I've stayed there lots if times the place is 1 of the best hotels I've stayed in .staff are great the rooms are clean and comfy would defo recommend the Clifton. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm up there

Liked: Booking in was easy. Room was small but comfortable.
Disliked: WIFI kept dropping out. Room was a bit small. TV channel listing limited compared to previous visits.

Well appointed rooms, convenient location.

Liked: Clean, well appointed rooms. Hearty breakfast (included in rate). Friendly customer service. Conveniently located to a selection of restaurants for evening meal. Comfortable & enjoyable stay overall.
Disliked: My colleague reported the bed in their room was too soft and as a result they didn't have a "great" night's sleep.

Liked: Hotel was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable. A nice breakfast
Disliked: There was an issue in our room(room 1 a,superior room). Woke up shortly after midnight due to the sound of dripping water. When we put on the lights we could see water coming down in seven places at the bay window. It was raining quite heavy outside. We used the waste paper bins to collect the water in the worst places. We phoned the owner and they told us there was nothing they could do that late at night. They said just put towels down. We had to move the velour chairs to stop them getting damaged by the water. The rain eventually stopped around 2.30 am. Hence we only had 5 hours sleep. We spoke to the owner when we went for breakfast and showed him the video we had taken and he was horrified at the extent of the leaks. He said unfortunately he couldn't have moved us as the hotel was full that night. He informed us that he would sort out a refund. Was disappointed with the refund of 50 pounds.

Liked: a lovely warm welcome at The Clifton. cosy and comfortable room, lovely and clean - near lots of local restaurants and takeaways. free parking which is plentiful outside the hotel.
Disliked: nothing, perfect.
