Nice stay for the weekend...

Liked: The Cliffside Inn is beautiful. It's in a perfect location - just far enough from downtown but minutes away from everything. The room was very comfortable, the linens and bathroom were wonderful and it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the wedding I was there for.
Disliked: I arrived very late after a long international flight. I received a message that I was placed on the top floor, I asked if there would be anyone on site to help me with getting my bags up - the quick answer was no. I arrived after the team left and it's a self check in. Arriving after a day of flying and dragging your bags up to the top floor wasn't the best impression. I was there for a wedding and asked if they had a rolling rack or steamer to get my clothes prepped - again nothing to provide on site, no offer for pressing service etc. There was an iron in the room and a small ironing board. I stayed only for a weekend (Friday - Monday / 3 Nights) and the total cost was around $2400 USD. For that level you do expect more serivce. I stayed at the Palais Royal in Paris for about the same cost and the service was over the top. They went out of their way to look after me with bags, pressing service, room service, food in room etc. etc. You do come to expect this when paying that much - so I was a bit disappointed with the lack of attention and care.
