Liked: The location is undeniably perfect for Newport. You are within walking distance of the beach and the iconic Cliff walk, and you have views of the water. Lovely neighborhood for the true home away from home feel.
Disliked: Minor gripes- The bathroom mirror, and several mirrors in the hotel, are aged and this made it hard to get ready in terms of make up. They have a vintage feel. Very minor issue there. The breakfasts were cute, but definitely not a wide spread of items. Felt like very light fare for what is advertized as a bed and breakfast experience. The food was good, it consisted of some kind of overnight oat, a biscuit, and a tray bake of either eggs or french toast.

Disliked: It was a little chilly downstairs. A/C was on high despite the temperature outside.

We like Newport but were...

Liked: Good breakfast and location, but no ocean views, as advertised.
Disliked: No instructions for use of fireplace, television. The heat remote was very confusing. There should be a full length mirror somewhere in the room for guests. The couch was uncomfortable. Nowhere else to sit except on the bed. The people above us were stomping around when we were trying to sleep and the noise was upsetting.
