Customer service was poor. Phone rang with no answer. Had to go down 21 floors to the desk and ask for assistance. Check out was worst. Clerk was rude and attitudinal after I informed her of the sink not working. Wall paper was peeling and stucco patching was done poorly in the ceiling of the bedroom. Some of the furniture was chipped and obvious signs of repaired with glue after being broken. No water bottles, coffee, tea in room. Water stains from refrigerator leaking in cabinet dresser. By the third day, we got the heat to work properly. Ate breakfast at Bally’s because there was nothing available in this hotel in the morning. I will not be going there again.

Liked: Restaurant on floor six. Food was excellent.
Disliked: Room and repaired broken table top. Utility sink had five inches of standing water and facets did not work. Thermometer was defective - could barely get to 74 degrees. Keep turning cooler and temperature dropped to 65 degrees after hours. Called maintenance and was told the system is old. TV cable poor. Stations freezes at times and guide would work intermittently. No information of amenities in the hotel. No welcome packet at desk.

Not what I expected.

Liked: Everything was broken, TV was old and remote didn't work. They had no batteries for remote. Ice machines on floors were not working. Everything in the room we had was old and outdated. The $27.00 per night parking didn't help. They had a nice pool, however they had no towels available.

Liked: The tub was nice.
Disliked: The view stunk. Plus the lack of accommodation for a suite, like bath robes or glasses, could have been better. Also went for a comedy show and for someone who has worked in theaters for over 25 years, the Celebrity Theatre was the saddest theatre I've EVER been to. Dirty and run-down. I sat front row and watch a cockroach scurry down the curtain (that had burn holes) across the stage only to be stepped on by the headlining comedian. It stole the show.

Liked: The hotel was nice but it was very big and confusing. The whirlpool was confusing at first because there were no directions on how to use it but it was very nice after we figured it out. The tv was far away from the bed and the tv remote didn't work very well and we had to keep getting up out of bed and walk up to the tv for the remote to work. There should also be better channels or better tvs so we can connect our phones to stream better tv/movies during our stay. The shower head in the bathroom was pretty small. the price for one night in the off season was still expensive and we didn't like paying for parking for a hotel we already paid alot of money for.

Disliked: The elevators were not working properly, there were only 2 employees checking people in. There was along line when we got there, had to stand in line for about 25 minutes to check in. The room needs an upgrade. I know it's supposed to be a vintage hotel but there's things they could do to clean it up a little bit.

Disliked: The TV is to small for the Gatsby King Suite this is a bigger space should have more than a 19' INCH tv could barely see the TV, consider putting a bigger TV in this big space.

Liked: there was no complaint. everything was just what i expected . staff was very helpfull and friendly . hotel was very nice and quiet . kids had an amazing fun time at pool and arcade.
